The Southside Piedmont Junior Golf association held its third tournament of the summer on Tuesday at Hat Creek Golf Course in Brookneal. The young men from Halifax Country Club picked up more wins when the Piedmont Junior Golf Association held its third tournament of the summer on Tuesday at Hat Creek Golf Course in Brookneal.

Brady Grant outlasted his twin brother, Jackson, to win first place in his second tournament in a row. Brady shot a 41 in the 7-9 year old division, and Jackson shot a 45 to finish in second place. Camden Saunders and Noah O’Kelly shot a 50 and 57 respectively to finish in third and fourth place in the division.

Owen Mason took top honors in the 10-11 year old division and had the lowest score of the day shooting a 40. Landon Eliot shot a 56 to finish in fifth place.

CJ DeGraw and Alex Pain shot a 46 and 48 in the 14-15 year old division to finish in third and fourth place.

The next tournament will take place on Thursday at Kinderton Country Club in Clarksville.
