Life is for everyone (L.I.F.E), a local nonprofit organization, raised $400 July 16 at a golf tournament they hosted at Green’s Folly Golf Course.

The event was team based with four different teams and 16 participants.

Organizer of the tournament Taquan Logan was proud of how the event turned out. This was the first time they had tried hosting a golf tournament, but hope to do it again.

“Considering we didn’t have a lot of time to plan things out, it went good. We learned how to improve for next year,” said Logan.

Life is for everyone (L.I.F.E) is a nonprofit organization that raises money for seniors graduating high school with the intentions of attending a college or university, and hosts various events for Halifax County children throughout the year.
