The Troy Nation Ring of Fire Men’s and Women’s Softball Tournament overcame torrential rain all day Friday and even though the start was delayed, the fundraiser was still able to take place over the weekend. The corn hole tournament on Friday was pushed back to Sunday afternoon, and they were still able to sell out of barbecue by Sunday as well. Men’s and women’s softball teams showed up on Saturday, and after only a short delay while Troy Nation prepared the field with help from volunteers, the games were going on into the night, and they were back on the field on Sunday morning to crown a champion.
