The South Boston Business & Industrial/30 & Over Basketball League now only has two undefeated teams.

Polywood II and Hitachi-ABB/Trilum LLC both hold records of 3-0 with hopes of taking sole possession of first place in the standings Sunday.

ADUSA Distribution LLC took on Hitachi-ABB/Trilum LLC in the first matchup Sunday with Hitachi-ABB/Trilum LLC taking the victory 59-49.

The difference in the game was due to the eight threes that Hitachi-ABB/Trilum LLC was able to make compared to ADUSA Distribution LLC’s three threes made.

Hitachi-ABB/Trilum LLC was led by Deshon Dabbs who scored 22 points with 14 of those coming inside the paint in the victory.

ADUSA was led by Nykwanze Henderson who scored 16 points with 12 of those coming from inside the three-point line.

The second game of the day was between Goodyear and Presto in which Goodyear claimed the victory due to Presto forfeiting the matchup.

This is Presto’s second forfeit in two weeks and due to league rules is now being dropped by the Business & Industrial/30 & Over Basketball League.

The third game of the day was between two teams who hold records of 1-2: Benchmark and Polywood I.

Benchmark was able to claim the second victory of the season with a final score of 59-43 and was led by Rodney Mosley who scored 18 points. The difference in the game was due to Benchmark being able to make their three-pointers fall making eight threes in the matchup.

Polywood I was led in scoring by Lymon Gregory who scored 11 points all of which came from inside the three-point line.

For the last game of the day, Polywood II took on and defeated Italian Delight in blowout fashion with a score of 59-13.

The game was called with 13:07 left in the second half due to the large deficit Italian Delight was facing.

Cameron Brown was the leading scorer for Polywood II with 24 points all of which came from inside the paint.

The South Boston Business & Industrial/30 & Over Basketball League named Dabbs of Hitachi-ABB/Trilum LLC, Mosley of Benchmark and Brown of Polywood II the Players of the Week after their performances in their games on Sunday.

The season will continue Sunday for the fifth week of games with Goodyear (2-2) taking on Italian Delight (2-1) at 3 p.m.

The matchup of two undefeated 3-0 teams will take place at 4 p.m. with Hitachi-ABB/ Trilum LLC taking on Polywood II to see who takes over first place.

At 5 p.m., Benchmark (1-2) will take on Polywood I (2-2) and at 6 p.m. ADUSA Distribution LLC (3-1) will take on an opponent that is to be announced.
