The South Boston Business & Industrial/30 & Over Basketball League hosted its sixth week of games on Sunday with Hitachi-ABB/Trilum LLC standing as the last unbeaten team remaining.

Hitachi-ABB/Trilum LLC (5-0) took on ADUSA Distribution LLC (5-1) in the first game of the day to compete for the top spot in the standings, in which Hitachi-ABB/ Trilum LLC dominated the competition winning 80-42.

The difference in the game was the amount of three-pointers made by the Hitachi-ABB/ Trilum LLC team as they made 12 threes totaling 36 points while ADUSA Distribution LLC could only contribute four three pointers totaling 12 points.

Tevin Edmunds led Hitachi-ABB/Trilum LLC in scoring on the day with a total of 16 points all of which came in the second half. Demetrius Burrell contributed 15 points with all 15 coming from behind the arc in the win.

On the ADUSA Distribution LLC team side Andrew Martin led in scoring with a total of 10 points all of which came inside the three-point line.

Polywood II (4-1) took on Goodyear (3-2) in the second matchup with Polywood II claiming the victory with a final score of 59-55.

The difference in the game was the amount of free throws that Polywood II was able to rack up, making 10 of their 15 free throws.

Polywood II’s Cameron Brown led all scorers on the day with a whopping 36 points, 22 of which came from inside the three-point line.

On the opposite side Cardarell Word led the Goodyear team with a total of 13 points.

The final game of the day was between two teams even in the standings at .500 apiece, Italian Delight (2-2) and Polywood I (2-2).

Polywood I claimed the victory by forfeit before the game even began.

The league standings through Nov. 21 currently has Hitachi-ABB/Trilum LLC sitting alone atop the league with a record of 6-0. ADUSA Distribution LLC tied for second with Polywood II at 5-1. Polywood I is tied with Benchmark for fourth place with records of 3-2. Goodyear sits alone in sixth place with a record of 3-3. Italian Delight sits in seventh place with a record of 2-3, and Presto and Eaton Coproation sit at the bottom of the standings after being removed from the league due to multiple forfeits during the season.

Games will continue Sunday with Hitachi-ABB/Trilum LLC (6-0) taking on Polywood I (3-2) slated for the first game at 3 p.m.

Benchmark (3-2) will take on Italian Delight (2-3) at 4 p.m., and ADUSA Distribution LLC (5-1) will take on Polywood II (5-1) for the final game of the day at 5 p.m.
