The Piedmont District recently announced its all-district teams for girls basketball, and three Comets were named to the list.

Dee Dee Jeffress and Ella Morrison were named to the first team all Piedmont District basketball team, and Demeisha Canada was named to the second team.

Jeffress and Canada made the team in their senior campaigns, while Morrison made the first team as a sophomore.

TaNashia Hairston of Magna Vista was named the player of the year, and Kyana Smith of Magna Vista was named the coach of the year.
